How this happened
My uncle Martin came up with this game years ago. It sat as a paper-and-pencil idea for a long time — until, in his 70s, he decided to have a go at building it himself with AI.
He got a surprising distance on his own. But every time he was handed a fork in the road — what to do next, how to get the thing "on the internet" — it tipped over into what he calls "martian": a language he could recognise as words, but not actually follow.
That's where I came in. I'm Sam, Martin's niece, and I've worked in tech for years. I picked up where he'd got stuck and helped push his passion project the rest of the way out into the world.
We hope you enjoy playing it as much as we enjoyed building it. — Sam & Martin
